Andrew Weldon is a 23-year old driver in both Limited Sprint and Late Model Series for 2006. He celebrated his first-ever racing win at Illiana Motor Speedway Late Model event on his 23rd birthday. Andrew competed as a rookie in the 2005 Jasper Sprint Series at Bridgeport Speedway in New Jersey under a self-operated and funded team. His previous racing experience includes extensive drag racing locally.

Andrew attended "FinishLine Racing School" in New Smyrna Beach, FL where he drove a 500 HP "Super Late Model" stock car. In the summer of 2004, Andrew worked as an intern for "Hendrick Motorsports" in Concord, NC where he worked in the engine shop tearing down motors, cleaning the parts, and organizing them for re-assembly.
