Bridgeport, NJ (August 30, 2006) -Andrew has shown true growth on the Sprint car circuit as he heads into the fall season fifth overall in points, with six top ten finishes, three of which are top five. Early in the season Andrew won a heat race and followed with a feature where he held 2nd place until a front axle broke taking him out of the competition. In August, a collision during the feature caused significant damage to the chassis. The Shaffer Motorsports team has helped him to get the car back in racing competition with a 2nd place finish to teammate, Mike Peirsig, last week.
